Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins: Review!

Imagine being deep underwater. Imagine the pressure on all sides of you. Imagine not being able to breathe.
Now, imagine drinking something so cold you get a brain freeze at the same time breaking out of the surface of the water body you're submerged in and fly into the sky.
So you can imagine the feeling of relief from the pressure, brain freeze from the drink and ... Just life from the air you're breathing and the adrenaline you feel from the speed you're being propelled forward in.
Now, THAT'S how this book felt like to me. It was awesome!
And if you think that this book is just a goody-goody girl and her unbecoming because of a bad-ass and sexy play-boy, it's not.
It's a fifty thousand times more.
Anna is your typical goody-goody girl. Add in shy, perspective, sweet annnnnnd....hmmm whatelse? Oh yeah, not human.
The day she met Kaiden Rowe was the day her life changed.
Correction, her life was already changing, she just found out where exactly she was headed. Well, mostly, anyway.
The only problem I probably had with Anna was that she may have come off as a little desperate at certain situations. But I guess sometimes when you're in love and you're not sure if it's a two way thing but you think it is and ... *waves hands in the air and let's out a breath* stuff like that.
The book was one of the best I'd read in a looong time (okay, in a while).
I like most of the choices Anna makes and I like her thought processes. Her heart is in the right place and her support for her best friend Jay is really sweet.
Now, Kope. He's so many things Kaiden isn't. But the big question is, does Anna want him over Kai?
It's really frustrating when we see Kai walk away from Ann time and time again when we can CLEARLY (crystal clearly!) see that he really just wants to be with her.
His tortured, hot-t (yeah, with an extra T *wink wink*), the Son Of Lust (no, I'm not kidding, he is) and really fierce and protective and looking for love even though he may not realise it.
The plot was face-paced but perfect and makes you turn every page and wish you didn't have to eat or pee (or anything else that is necessary, and keep both your hands and eyes busy) regularly. It's really and I HIGHLY recommend it!
